Garden Organic is working in partnership with the Friends of the Earth to promote the ‘The Bee Cause’.

As gardeners know, bees are essential to many fruits and vegetables, and vital to many wild flowers and so our whole countryside. The latest research suggests that replacing the free pollination provided by bees and other insects would cost £1.8billion annually.

Both honey and wild bees are declining. Friends of the Earth’s Bee Cause campaign asks you to help by creating bee-friendly spaces, and by pressing the government to adopt a Bee Action Plan in line the science about the causes of bee decline.
