EXCITING IMAGES

Local residents have worked hard to set up an amazing open to the public community garden in Wandsworth and as they requested, I went down to help them out for an event.

There was a lovely atmosphere as residents shared cake and talked about the success of their harvests. I supported children and families by creating their own compostable pots out of coloured card. They filled them with organic compost created at the garden and planted a bean.

Always the teacher, I encouraged the children to write on their pots what they planted inside! It was a magical day and enjoyed by many!
