Region Hackney, Master Gardener, | Local Clapton, Hackney | Interests I am the Coordinator of the North London Master Gardener Programme. I recruit, train and support Master Gardeners in North London. I have previously designed, set up and managed volunteering and mentoring programmes for social entrepreneurs, young people, employees of large city firms and most recently for a new community food kitchen in Stoke Newington. I am also a certified coach and love supporting people to develop their confidence to follow new pursuits in life, whether that’s food growing or any other new passion. I recently acquired my very own woodland garden in Hackney (a rare phenomenon) and am relishing the prospect of my first growing season and spending time experimenting in my new potting shed. The main dilemma though is what to try first?

Region Camden, Master Gardener, | Local South London | Interests Hello! I'm the South London Master Gardener Coordinator and sharing with Philip Turvil the co-ordination of the North London Master Gardeners Dec 2012 - Feb 2013. I'm a point of contact for South and North London Master Gardeners, households and groups wanting a year's growing support from Master Gardeners and people who might want to become Master Gardeners. I'm involved with community growing and cropping and love to grow at my mini-allotment in Clapham too. I'm looking forward to 2013 with a particular focus on seed saving (beans and squash), resilience crops and quinoa. Other projects include Lambeth Poly, the Clapham Common Bandstand Beds and Incredible Edible Lambeth.

Region Camden, Master Gardener, | Local Tufnell Park/Kentish Town | Interests I love growing things to eat with my young daughter in our small front garden. I have grown organically for many years in pots, windowboxes and balconies and feel there is great potential in growing food in small unused spaces in our city.
